Nurse Porsha
Nurse Porsha, RN, BSN is a registered nurse with over 15 years of experience in surgical care, hospice, and vascular access. She has been practicing since 2007, supporting patients and families through procedures, postoperative recovery, end-of-life care and complex medical needs. She earned her Associate degree from Lawson State Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Porsha specializes in extending care beyond the clinical setting through education, care coordination, and post-discharge support. She serves patients throughout the Greater Birmingham area, providing non-emergency, nurse-led concierge services focused on safety, clarity, and continuity of care.
About Us
Nurse in Motion is a nurse-led, non-emergency patient support service focused on improving care transitions beyond the bedside and clinical setting. We support patients and families by reinforcing provider-directed plans, improving understanding, and helping navigate care transitions. We work alongside physicians and care teams to enhance communication, adherence, and patient confidence outside the traditional care environment. Nurse in motion does not diagnose, prescribe, or alter treatment plans.
